✨artwork reveal 🖼️ I’ve been keeping this one under wraps for a while. I was lucky enough to help out some authors by illustrating a map! This was such a fun project. I used procreate but kept it in a watercolor style- my wheel house if you will 😉 the result was a soft but detailed window of Regency Bath. I’m pretty proud of how it turned out. A small business owner with a big dream and even bigger gumption—her donut shop is her dream, and you can feel it on every page. She’s been through hard things, learned to stand up for herself, and came out the other side stronger. And the MMC? Ohhh my swoon. 😍 Let’s just say if you’re into protective, thoughtful, “who is this guy really?” vibes—this one has that hidden identity done so well. 🫠 This book made me smile, cheer, and melt a little. I love baseball movies. 🎬⚾️ Not baseball games (sorry to the fans—I find them kinda boring 😬), but give me a baseball movie and I’m all in. “A League of Their Own” (obvs), “Moneyball,” “Trouble with the Curve,” “42”… yes please. Ironically, “Field of Dreams” doesn’t do it for me. I don’t get it. I know, I know—cue the collective gasp (my husband’s still recovering from that confession 😂). So, I figured… maybe it’s time to try a baseball book. And friends, @authorannahconwell just released one in her “More than a Game” series and I might’ve found another new favorite genre. 😉 📚 The Double Play by Annah Conwell is everything I love in a story—heart, heat, and a hero that had me swooning. It’s cute and full of humor that balances out the angst/past history the characters work through. ⚾️ If you love a good sports romance, or you’re a fan of slow-burn chemistry and grumpy/sunshine, add this one to your TBR!
